Our Story

While working on a summer economic policy project, I noticed a troubling pattern: small businesses, despite being the backbone of our communities, were often absent from policy discussions. Instead, conversations were dominated by large corporations with well-funded lobbying power, leaving independent entrepreneurs invisible.

That realization led me to found YVSB, an initiative dedicated to advocacy through storytelling, civic engagement, and research. To sustain this mission, my team and I later launched Puzzles4Biz as a social enterprise to generate funding for YVSB’s work.
